South MED is one of Egypt’s most ambitious coastal developments, conceived as a world-class, fully integrated waterfront
destination on the Southern Mediterranean. Developed by Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG), it represents a landmark investment
in tourism, real estate, and infrastructure, redefining mixed-use resort development in the region. Located at Kilo 165
on the Alexandria–Matruh Road, with Al Alamein International Airport just 18 minutes away, the project enjoys strong
regional and international accessibility within a 3–4-hour flight radius of major European and Gulf cities. Designed to
global standards, South MED balances luxury, sustainability, and long-term economic value, reinforcing Egypt’s position
as a year-round Mediterranean destination.
Overview
Spanning approximately 23 million square meters, South MED is a fully integrated coastal development combining
residential, hospitality, leisure, and lifestyle components within a cohesive master plan. The development includes a
world-class marina and waterfront, activated beaches, retail and dining districts, hotels and resort residences, sports
and wellness facilities, golf courses, crystal lagoons, and vibrant public spaces. South MED will generate long-term
economic growth through tourism and employment. As one of TMG’s Project Managers, APM together with Hill International
safeguards the project vision and ensures its delivery through integrated planning, design and procurement management,
cost and schedule control, construction oversight, and proactive risk and quality management across all phases.
